Sam Ryerson has worked on and managed ranches across the west since 2005. He is a managing partner of Triangle P Cattle Company, a New Mexico-based ranching enterprise, and is on the boards of the Quivira Coalition, the Southwest Grassfed Livestock Alliance, Sweetgrass Co-op, and Contra Viento Journal.

Ariel has worked in agriculture since 2007. Prior to starting Grass Nomads with Sam in 2018, Ariel managed cattle and produced beef on conservation land for several years in California. She serves on the board of Contra Viento Journal and has served on the board of Holistic Management International.
